For the last one hundred and twenty-five years, Beth Jacob Congregation has served the Bay Area Jewish community as a Makom Tefillah (house of worship). As a Modern Orthodox synagogue committed to Halacha, we host the only daily Minyan in Oakland with morning and evening services, as well as inspiring Shabbat and holiday services, which have grown more musical and song-filled through initiatives like our annual Musician-in-Residence program.
